Trunks for Dads and Lads
I discovered Fair Harbor through a Facebook ad I believe around Christmas time and I snatched a pair for my husband for Christmas. We always go to Mexico the day after Christmas with my in-laws so I thought it would be perfect. I had no idea how much he would love the swim trunks. My husband was blown away by the trunks and quite honestly there isn’t much that blows him away (let alone a piece of clothing). Fast forward to a few months from today and I reached out to Fair Harbor to tell them how much my family adores their product. I wanted to also ask Fair Harbor if we could possibly team up together on a campaign. They agreed and I am not going to lie I was giddy with excitement.
Let me tell you a quick story about my son and I promise this circles back to Fair Harbor’s swim trunks. The first time my son was fully potty trained and wearing trunks without a swim diaper he started to scream suddenly in the hot tub. It took me a minute or two but I soon discovered that my kiddo had a problem with his mesh lining attaching to places we don’t need to go into details about . Growing up with one sister I really had no idea that his problem existed for men. Fair Harbor on the other hand was well aware of this issue and made the brilliant decision to have a mesh free lining in their trunks. The lining in the Fair Harbor trunks is more of a built in boxer brief- it isn’t too tight and it isn’t too loose. It provides the perfect support and the liner is moisture wicking. They’ve got trunks for Dad and matching trunks for kids. There is seriously nothing cuter than a Father and Son wearing matching swimsuits, try and convince me otherwise. The kids trunks were sold out for awhile and now I’m very excited they’re back in stock! Snag a pair for Dad and one for your lad.
Another intelligent feature of the Fair Harbor shorts is that they’re made out of plastic bottles. By rocking these trunks you are reducing waste that would other wise end up in our oceans. Fair Harbor takes discarded bottles, shreds them up, melts the the shredded bottles and finally spins them into yarn. The yarn is then woven into fabric and ultimately sewn to create the swim trunks.
With Father’s Day fast approaching I can’t think of a more perfect gift for Dad than a pair of swim trunks from Fair Harbor. Summer will be here soon and Dad will need a new pair of trunks, because we know most of our Dads are not taking the time to buy themselves a new suit. I don’t know if we can take another summer of Dad in his faded palm tree and martini print swim suit. I whole heartedly believe in the Fair Harbor product and their company as a whole.
